Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital which was established in year 1992 is situated in Ludhiana Punjab. This affiliated college recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) has a specialised courses in homeopathic medicine. Located on Canal Road, Barewal Awana, the college has expanded and emerged as leading college for the education and practice of homeopathic system of medicine in the region. According to the enrolment, the institute consists of 322 students and 47 faculty members, which creates an essential student-faculty ratio for blooming homeopathic practitioners.

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital has put in place a number of facilities that supplement the learning process of the College’s students. In terms of practical learning the college provides highly equipped laboratories for different departments. The Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital provides 4 types of programmes in total where two is at the Undergraduate level and one at the PG level. The 4-year undergraduate programme is the Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and at the postgraduate level there are three Doctor of Medicine (MD) programmes. All courses are day time courses so that intensive and thorough training in the principles of homeopathy is imparted. The total approved intake in all the programmes of the college is 78 with 60 seat’s intake in the BHMS programme and 6 seats in each of the three MD specialisation programmes - MD Homoeopathic Repertory etc .

The admission procedure in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is fully merit based and is following all the rules and regulation as per the directives. The BHMS programme has been designed to be implemented in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education and shall admit students through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into the programme .
