Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology (SICET), apparently an autonomous college was started in 2006 at Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana. With a strengths across 16 courses falling under 3 degree programme, SICET is a 54 acre campus engineering institution with specialisations across various disciplines. This college is affiliated to NAAC and is approved by AICTE to prove the quality of the college. SICET having total strength of 245 faculty members for 4,055 enroled students, out of which 69% are male and 31% are female in under graduate programmes and 22% are male while 78% are female in post graduate programmes.

Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology, Ibrahimpatnam is affiliated with the college Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Sri Indu College of Engineering and Technology equipped with new and sophisticated facilities. The college library has a collection of about 36000 books and over 200 national and international journals In addition the college has a digital library to gain access to a lot of e-journals and NPTEL videos. The campus has lab facilities and the Electrical Circuits, Power Electronics, and Microprocessors are well equipped. The students have access to a highly efficient IT support system with access to 100 Mbps internet connection and Wireless WAN. The institution also has a facility of a desire hostel which accommodates 350 female students with solar water heaters and separate RO plant for drinking water. Another factor that played in favor of the institute is that the institute is industry linked and also encourages alumni base which gives it a reputation in that region. 

The college provides many engineering speciality programmes specialising in undergraduate courses. The B.Tech programmes offered at SICET are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and other. New programmes which have been established by the institute are also relevant in the market innovation front including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, and Internet of Things among others. At post graduate level SICET offers M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech Embedded Systems and MBA.

The undergraduate programmes offered by SICET are mainly offered with an admissions criterion determined by the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). This examination is very important to those students who wish to be admitted to engineering colleges in Telangana State. It also offers admission from other entrance tests for other programmes offered by the college.
