Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy (SIIP) was set up in the year 2004 located at Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy district Telangana state. This affiliated college is approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Having adopted a 2-acre campus, Illinois institution: The State Scholarship and Instructional Improvement Plan & Implementation (SIIP) delivers 8 courses at three different degree levels enrolling a total of 615 students and is staffed by 56 faculty members. The institute offers different pharmaceutical courses of study at the undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels in Undergraduate Pharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance.

Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy has all facilities for students need for their over all development in their academic life. A rich library that forms the centre of information, and updated laboratories to give practical training in the field of pharmaceuticals. In the current years, the college’s IT systems make sure the students are in touch with the latest technologies. As for the social activities, there are access to sporting activities and an available amenities for events and seminars. A cafeteria for accommodating the needed diet of all students and porffesional staff is also present. The college also provides health care facilities with an outfitted health centre in the first aid to members of the college. Also for the students and members of staff a transport facility is provided so students and members of staff are able to travel comfortably.

Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy provides the population with a number of pharmaceutical courses, such as a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and others. There are 8 full-time courses offered by the institute across different areas of specialisation. The flagship programme The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) has a capacity of 100 students per academic year. The postgraduate programme of SIIP is divided into several specialised M.Pharma courses which has 15 seats each in Pharmaceutics, Drug Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance. The institute also has 30-seated Pharm.D programme and 10-seated Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programme. The total enrolments of all the courses taught is 615 students.

The admission criteria of Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy differs depending on the course being offered by the Institute. For the programme B.Pharma the admissions are done according to the rank secured in EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) conducted by Telangana state government. As with the prerequisite for admission to M.Pharma programmes it is mandatory for candidates to have to appear for the PGCET examination conducted by the Government of Telangana or GPAT examination for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. 

In order to pursue admission to different specialisations of M.Pharma, the institute considers the GPAT scores in Drug Regulatory Affairs and in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance. The extensive admission method makes sure that only the capable and foundation grounded students in pharmaceutical field are admitted at SIIP hence the quality education offered at the institute makes it produce reputable pharmacy specialists.
