Sri Kanaka School of Nursing located in Ramanagara started functioning from 2018 and is a budding institution for the training of nursing in the state of Karnataka, India. Address of this co-educational institute is 109/1, BM Road, Archakarahalli, Ramanagara-562159 The college is affiliated and serves aspiring HC professionals with education and practical knowledge. The school occupies a small plot of land of 3 acres, which makes the school compact and the students interactive. It has 52 students currently enrolled, and the institute has 6 faculties, which keeps the student-teacher ratio optimal.

It is a proud moment for Sri Kanaka School of Nursing that it provides various amenities for the overall benefit of learners. The medical and hospital facilities are core to the nursing programme whereby student are exposed to real life situations at BGS Global Hospital, Bangalore as well as the Government hospitals in Ramanagara and Channapatna. These hospitals with more than 500 beds offer student practical experience in all sorts of fields of medicine such as Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Pediatric, ENT, Eye, Maternity, Gynecology among others. The curriculum also includes orientation at Primary Health Centers Psychiatry and Community Health Nursing and water purification plants. Inline with accommodation the school also owns and runs separate hostels for boys and girls with adequate mess facilities to provide standard meals to the students. The campus facility includes library, departmental labs, an auditorium for events/seminars, cafeteria and state of the art IT facility. The university encourages students to take up activities that engage the body and the soul in stressful life from time to time, and as an effort to assist students to maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet, they can participate in sporting activities by using sports facilities and a gym.

Currently, Sri Kanaka School of Nursing offers one primary course: GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery programme. This is a full-time course which takes student for a period of three years with the aim of producing servant leaders for nursing careers.
