Sri Narayani College and School of Nursing was started in the year 2006, located at Thirumalaikodi, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, which is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, has its courses spread throughout various disciplines in the nursing field. Located on an expansive 18-acre plot, the college creates the right atmosphere for the intending healthcare professionals. It has a student capacity of 54 and faculty of 4, which makes the institution provide personal touch and quality education. Tutored by qualified lecturers and nursing professionals, Sri Narayani College provides 8 courses in three levels of degree: general, post-basic, and midwifery nursing, with special emphasis on obstrictics, paediatrics, and mental health nursing.
Sri Narayani College and School of Nursing have put in place various facilities that foster students’ academic and personal needs. A spacious library with over 5000 books, 20 journals—of which 15 are Indian and the rest are international—6 magazines, and 4 newspapers. Basic and complete courses offered by the institution are 8, whereby 1 offered full-time consists of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programmes. At the undergraduate level, the college offers B.Sc Nursing programme and a Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme. The Aversity offers a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) for those in search of a diploma.
