Sri Parashuram Institute of Technology and Research of Khandwa was established in 2013 and has been affirming technical knowledge in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college is situated in Gram Dhanora Jhaswadi, and the huge infrastructure of the college is 11 acres. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides a host of programme including the B.Tech. and MBA.  SPITR has 83 students and 11 faculty members, faculty strength, and this strategy allows concentrated on effective education. The institute teaches five courses in two programmes, of which the concentrations are civil, computer science, electrical & electronics, mechanical engineering, and business administration. 

The institute has a wide range of academic facilities aimed at improving the student experience within the facility. A rich library collection is imagined as a storehouse of knowledge reinforced by the sophisticated laboratories of each department. The IT infrastructure helps students to be up to date with the technological change. For the wholesome growth of the students, sports facilities and a gym have been provided in SPITR.  An auditorium is used for organising many events and seminars and contributes to an active student life. Student welfare is given a priority with the health centre for first aid treatment. The eating facility addresses culinary concerns, and transport facilities are available to facilitate movement for students and staff. The institute has guest rooms for visiting faculty and families, as the institute also has a tradition of being hospitable.

SPITR currently provides the following five full-time courses as under: B.Tech in four different specialisation areas and MBA. All B.Tech programmes such as civil engineering, computer science & engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering have an intake of 30 seats. In terms of intake, the MBA programme is quite large with 240 seats, which gives an indication of the focus on management education. This has increased the total student enrolment to 360 in all programmes offered at the university. The more of the institute’s courses suggest a focus on quality education since most of these courses combine technical knowledge and managerial skills.
