    Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a full-time two-year undergraduate degree course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by the Bangalore University, Bangalore.


    Eligibility Criteria

    • A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelor’s degree examination at either Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad, recognized equivalent through 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education, who has obtained 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for the degree, is eligible for admission to the B.Ed program. 
    • The candidate with less than 50% aggregate in the degree, but a master's Degree with 50% is also eligible for the B.Ed Programme.
    • In the case of SC/ST, Category -1, and physically challenged students, 45% marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied forthe degree course or 45% in post-graduation.

    Admission Details

    Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
