Sri Satya Sai College of Education, Kurukshetra came into existence in the state of Haryana in the form of a beacon of learning and excellence in the year 2007. This co-educational institution is situated in the historic city of Kurukshetra and dedicates itself to churning out future educators. The college is compact, spread over a 2.975 acre campus with an enrolment capacity of 173 in two specialization courses in education. At present, it is an affiliated college and has the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education with a commitment to maintain high standards in teacher training.

The library acts as the academic resource center by housing ample resources in books, references, encyclopedias, and education journals with spacious sitting areas for focused study. Well-equipped laboratories to match practical teaching and learning activities are provided by the school. The Science lab is fully equipped with basic equipment and materials, while the Educational Technology and Computer Laboratory has the state-of-the-art facilities for projectors and computers. The Psychology lab is well-equipped with various tests tools and techniques in operation for psychological testing. Generally, these facilities provide practical exposure to the course that the students pursue. The college lays great emphasis on sports facilities for all students so that a holistic development culture can be cultivated in the campus. The same is very well equipped in terms of IT infrastructure so that students move at par with technology in education. A cafeteria catered to the staff and students for moments of relaxation and social interaction to bond their community life within the campus.

Sri Satya Sai College of Education offers two full-time courses in the field of education. These include the Bachelor of Education, B.Ed, with an intake of 100 students and the Diploma in Education, D.Ed, that accommodates 50 students and forms the mainstay of the institution's academic offerings. Both courses are of two-year duration and provide the aspiring teacher with a thorough course in the art and science of teaching. This focus on only two courses at the graduation level enables the college to concentrate both its efforts and energies on producing quality teachers, while also offering a total of 150 seats.             

The admission procedure at Sri Satya Sai College of Education is to filter only the most promising pupils for its education programs. Admission will be made on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examination in the B.Ed course. The selection process thus fully adheres to the rules and policies set by the State Government and Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind. Similarly, admission to the D.Ed course will be based on merit, that is, according to the marks secured in the qualifying examinations or entrance tests, as per state government, U.T administration, and the affiliated university.
