Sri Shanmugha College of Pharmacy (SSCOP) was established in the year 2017 and is a young pharmacy college situated in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Located in Sankari-Tiruchengode Main Road in Pullipalayam, this affiliated college has been able to stake a claim as one of the fast growing college offering pharmaceutical courses. AICTE approved from the All India Council for Technical Education and PCI approved from the Pharmacy Council of India, so its programmes are also have up to mark standard. SSCOP has 15 dedicated faculties who have strived hard to offer competency based quality education in the field of Pharmacy.
The college has many resources devoted to improving the live of students which consist of following. With regards to hostel facilities, both male and female students can take advantage of on campus hostel facility and each hostel is run by hostel wardens. The cafeteria which is located in the compound bearing natural environment provides snacks and tasty foods and beverages at very affordable prices. For the commuting students, SSCOP has strengthened transport with buses that afford to be on time both in the morning and in the evening always putting into consideration the safety of the students. The college library is called as the knowledge centre and the college auditorium is also used as college centre for some activities like seminars etc. Opportunities of fitness centres can be found at the campus and students can participate in the on-campus sports. Other features are parking space, staff quarter for visitors, clinic for first aid, and easy access to our banking section.
SSCOP offers two pharmacy programmes, a four years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) and a two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). Both are full time programmes which is in conformity with the intensive and practical orientation of the institute. To the B.Pharma programme students, the institute has an approval of 100 students admission while for the D.Pharma programme, it has an intake of 60 students. These systematically developed courses should be able to churn out competent professional in anticipation to the challenge within the pharma industry.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy): B.Pharm is a four-year undergraduate program at Sri Shanmugha College of Pharmacy that aims to provide an all-round knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences. Admission to this program is based on the performance of candidates in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. The eligible students are to have passed higher secondary education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as core subjects. It is worth mentioning that candidates will be selected mainly for the marks obtained in these subjects, giving them even further preference based on their ranks.
D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy): D.Pharm is a two-year diploma program provided by SSCOP, in which a basis of training will be offered in pharmacy education. For admission to this course, the candidate should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. The candidate's selection will be made on the basis of the mark sheet of any qualifying examination prepared based on merit concerning the performance in science subjects.
B.pharma course is a 4 years undergraduate degree in the field of medicine to perform job roles like Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Retail Pharmacist, Pharmacy Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, Pharmacy Manager, Health Inspector etc.job offered in the top companies Sun Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark Pharma, Zydus Cadila, Biocon, GlaxoSmithKline, Cipla Inc. And many more for fresher graduate.please assure before taking admission that course is approved from AICTE and PCI.

BSc in MLT is a 3 year undergraduate course which is focused on diagnoses, treatment and prevention of diseases using clinical laboratory tests.
Average fees of BSc MLT is around 4000-120000/year depending on the college and whether it is a govt or a pvt college.
