Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT) is a private engineering college located in Tumkur, Karnataka, India. Established in 1979 by Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES), SSIT is affiliated to the Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Tumkur, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in various disciplines of engineering and technology. The SSIT also offers courses in management and applied sciences. SSIT Tumkur offers admission through various entrance exams, such as COMEDK UGET/ KCET/ GATE/ Karnataka PGCET, and the admission process requires the submission of documents, an entrance exam score, and a fee. A notification is issued annually for applications to the Ph.D. programme, and successful applicants must take the entrance test and attend an interview.
