Sri Vasavi College of Education, Erode, (SVS) was set up in the year 1967. EThis affiliated college which has an area of 12.26 acres. SVS has a total student enrolment of 2,450 with a faculty of 112. In addition, SVS offers 68 courses across 12 degree programmes. The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council whose role it is to assess and accredit institutions of learning. It also has a near equal gender distribution where men comprise 55% of the students in the undergraduate while 45 % are females; 54% males and 46% females in the post graduate level.
