The Sri Vedanarayana College of Education, Puttur (SVCE). At present, it stands as one of the premier colleges in Andhra Pradesh for teacher training. Admission of students into its teacher-education programs is done through a totally merit-selected system, thereby ensuring that the most deserving and committed candidates are selected. These admissions are done strictly in accordance with the procedures laid down by the State Government, University, and UT administration. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has granted the college recognition as a symbol of the quality of education being imparted. Presently, the College is concentrating on the flagship program, which is M. Ed. (Master in Education), a two years full-time postgraduate program.

Application Process

M.Ed (Master in Education): M.Ed is a two-year full-time postgraduate course at Sri Vedanarayana College of Education, considered the flagship offering for building particular skills and competencies in candidates making them effective teachers and educational leaders. For this purpose, 50 seats are fixed for intake.

M.Ed admissions are granted based on merit calculated on the candidate's qualifying examination performance, entrance test or any other selection procedure laid down by the state government/university/UT administration.
