Located in Amalapuram, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, Sri YVS and Sri BRM Polytechnic was established in 1998. This affiliated, non-autonomous college is approved by AICTE and offers various diploma programmes in engineering fields. The institute occupies a vast 5.5-acre campus with total enrolment of 592 students and a faculty strength of 8. 

Sri YVS and Sri BRM Polytechnic has a pride in offering a comprehensive set of facilities that enhance the learning experience of its students. Sri YVS and Sri BRM Polytechnic offers five diploma courses, all of which have a duration of three years. These courses include the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Having a total intake of 360 across these programmes, the institute caters to diverse engineering interests. The maximum intake is in the streams of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with 108 seats in each stream, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering. While Diploma in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering course only has 30 seats available.
