Srinivas Reddy Institute of Technology, SRIT, established in 2001, is a contemporary institution located in Nizamabad, Telangana. This is a co-educational institute that has been showing improvements in the sphere of engineering education for more than 20 years. SRIT is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and this insures its coherence with the standards of technical education of India. The faculty of the institute comprises 73 dedicated professionals in order to help in shaping the future generation engineers.

Student and faculty services include a library, which is a knowledge base for the institute. To be precise, with the present-day technological advancements, SRIT has set up good I.T. infrastructure that helps the students experience technologies. However, between the intensive study periods, there is a cafeteria in the institute that provides breaks for the learners. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

However, it is engineering programmes for which SRIT holds most of its academic portfolio. The institute currently offers five courses, 3 full-time B.Tech programmes: Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Every one of these programmes takes four years to complete and upon graduation, students should be fully equipped with knowledge in their specific disciplines as well as important employable skills.
