Srisi Sadat Degree College, Moradabad is affiliated college in Sirsi, Uttar Pradesh, which was set up in 2006. This institution that is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers a number of undergraduate programmes and a diploma course. The college has total strength of 2187 students and 11 members in faculty which makes it more effective in the way of teaching and learning. Srisi Sadat Degree College consists of 5 courses in 4 types of degrees, Arts, Commerce, Science, and Education to meet students’ diverse needs and planned careers. 

Srisi Sadat Degree College mission is to ensure that the students receive a holistic training and as such the college boasts of a number of amenities. It plays the role of compiling the information as a centre of learning resource and help students develop themselves. For those persons with interest in physical activities, the college offers sports facilities so as to enhance balanced education between the physical and the academic activities. The institution also features heath centre for students’ health over all well being with a facility for first aid in the event. 

The colleges offers 5 full time courses out of which 3 are Bachelors degree courses and 2 are degrees & diploma courses. The undergraduate programmes are: BA, B.Com, and two B.Sc programmes: Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Besides, diploma courses also offered in the college comprises of the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) programme. The D.El.Ed programme has an acknowledged intake capacity of 100 students putting into darkness the college’s apprehension towards teacher education. 

Srisi Sadat Degree College follows different admission procedures for each of its programmes. The current study implies that for most of the undergraduate courses, students might be admitted under the standard of their performance in qualifying tests. But for the D.El.Ed programme the College had followed a structured plan. Admission is offered on merit basis based on marks obtained in the qualifying test and/or any other test as required.
