SSD College of Professional Studies was instituted in 2013 and is situated at Bathinda, Punjab, India. Affiliated to the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana. This co-educational institution is located on a 5-acre land and provides 7 courses that cut across thirteen different fields. Thus, the carrier has a total student intake of 203 and 5 faculty members, which enable small classes. SSD College of Professional Studies is dedicated to providing excellent professional education in the areas of Commerce, Agriculture, Business Administration, Computer Application, etc. to meet the emerging global market demands.

Currently, the college has installed or avails of state-of-the art physical and technological infrastructure as follows:. It has also current text books, reference books in various languages and new Purdue newspapers and magazines subscribed for people. That is; books of different languages, current text books, and systemised references in the forms of newspapers and journals. In case of sports lovers, they have open playgrounds for endless basketball, volleyball, hockey, cricket, and other games to have bodies built up besides enjoying team spirit. Facilities include an up-to-date Information Technology infrastructure that includes a Computer laboratory, several PCs with wireless internet connectivity, UPS, Laser printers/scanners, among others. The needs of agriculture students are met with three large laboratories that contain all the modern equipment and tools required for experiments. Transit facilities are also made easy for the college; both local as well as interstate bus services are easily available and to improve the transport system, the college even plans to have its own transport fleet from main transport time lines. A canteen on campus serves the culinary needs of the staff as well as students.

Currently, SSD College of Professional Studies provides the following 7 full-time programmes for students at the undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma levels. It caters for various discipline areas, including Commerce, Agriculture, and the arts. Some of these are B.Com. (Hons), B.Sc Agriculture (Hons), BBA, BCA, M.Com., and others. The college has a total approved student capacity of two hundred and three students across all its programmes which can absorb enough students in a one-on-one approach towards offering quality education to all students.
