The St. Peter’s College of Education at Coimbatore which was set up in the year 2006 is an affiliated college with Students specialised in Teacher Education. This programme is the bedrock of St. Peter’s set educational programmes with approved drill of one hundred seats. Teaching is the main profession for which the course B.Ed is designed and is equipped with specific skills and knowledge to perform this profession. Although exact numbers of graduates who passed the license examination are still unknown, 91 is the total enrolment of the college; it can still be inferred that the college is always producing interested graduates in its teacher education programme.
