    St. Peter’s College of Engineering and Technology, Avadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2008. This affiliated college occupies a total of 12.38 acres of land and has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as well as approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institution provides student with 13 different courses available for 3 levels of degrees and services 1,026 students. Gender wise the institute is in perfect proportion having 52% male and 48% female students while it has 140 members in its faculty which provides adequate student teacher ratio.

    St. Peter’s College of Engineering and Technology fulfills its role in offering some of the best learning environment to ensure that students receive the best. The facilities of hostels are available for boys and girls separately, it consists of total 320 rooms allocated on 34,000 squire meter. These hostels are therefore facilitated with amenities such as reading rooms, TV rooms and recreations halls. Our grounds consist of a primary health care centre; in addition, a campus ambulance service is operational at any time of the day or night. Sports lovers can also find a small gym that has all the fitness facilities that are needed on campus. The college has a library centre as its source of knowledge, and the information technology, such as Wi-fi connectivity, as a means of knowledge acquisition. It also has an auditorium and cafeteria and several laboratories that support the needs of specific departments or courses. of course the availability of a branch with one or more ATMs is another advantage offered to the students and staff.

    The present academic portfolio of SPCET comprises 13 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education. It offers BE programmes, MBA and M.Tech programmes. The institute offers 10 undergraduate regular programmes and 3 postgraduate programmes which are enriching, targeted to the dynamics of the technological advancements in the global market. The combined approved intake for all courses is one thousand and twenty six only. However, as much as we consider the latest graduation data, their courses and amenities depict the college’s embrace of quality education.
