St Xavier's College, Simdega Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

• The college library has 2300 books and a few periodicals and journals. The members of the college community are exhorted to make the best use of the library subject to some conditions.
• The Identity Card of the college should be produced along with a requisition slip with the request for a book.
• Books from the Library are issued using the library board.
• The students are allowed to borrow two books at a time.
• The books may be kept for a period of two weeks. A fine of Rs 1 is charged per day for late return of books.
• After the final clearance, Library books are not issued. The library remains closed on Sundays and Holidays.

The college has a well-equipped geography laboratory. 

The College has a central computer lab facility for all students.

The college has a Boys and Girls are allowed to go to the canteen. Mutual respect is expected from all. The canteen is open from 8.30 a.m.- 4.0 p.m. During holidays it will remain closed. The canteen is just to provide you with light refreshments; Student are advised not to sit longer than 20 minutes. 

The college has bicycles and two-wheelers are to be parked in the allotted parking places only.

Students are requested to lock properly their vehicles and the college does not take any responsibility if the vehicle is stolen. Students are not allowed to bring cars, vans, jeeps, and other four-wheelers to the college campus. The parking rules of the college have to be followed strictly.

The college has Classrooms are large and capable of accommodating a large number of students without cramping. They are surrounded by large spacious verandahs for students to move and breathe freely. All Classrooms are facilitated with projectors when required. 

The college has an open stage and the college building quadrangle. For all major functions of the college, the tent is pitched on the quadrangle.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
