State Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences (SINPS), started in the year 2001, is a constituent college affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Faridkot. This co-educational institute is situated in Badal, Punjab and offers 13 programmes of study across four programmes in nursing and paramedical sciences. Approved by the INC, SINPS has kept up to high educational standards on 23 acre acre campus. The enrolment capacity for students is 427 and the strength of faculty members are 14.
State Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences has the opportunity to establish a teaching model for the training of healthcare specialists. The completed and on-going infrastructural development in SINPS. It boasts of e-library facilities, computerised laboratory, well equipped laboratory, and practical training. Nursing, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM), BPT, and diploma courses in medical technologies etc. In the postgraduatelevel, SINPS offers M.Sc programmes in Nursing specialties which include Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. The total approved total intake for all courses is 427 student while the number of seats for different courses fall between 5 and 50.
