Surya College of Education, Tohana, established in 2007  centres with goodwill in the offering of education. The college is situated in Village Baliala, P.O. Tohana, Tehsil Tohana, District Fatehabad, Haryana. This co-educational college helps teachers to train through different teacher training programs. Surya College of Education is an approved teacher education institute under NCTE, ERC Jaipur. On a small campus of 1 acre, the college provides quality education. Its 250 colleges throughout the state of Haryana are affiliated. The institute has a total enrolment of 452 students and a faculty strength of 18, hence maintaining a very conducive student-teacher ratio that ensures personal attention and guidance.

The college has many facilities by which the student can learn many programs. The library is a storehouse of knowledge and has a rich collection of books, journals, and newspapers. The college emphasizes health and well-being through its first-aid facility and gym for physical fitness. For those with a flair for understanding children more closely, Surya College of Education has developed specialized education labs: a Language Lab to polish communication skills, a Science Lab for practical learning, and a Psychology Lab to understand human behaviour. Surya College of Education has three full-time courses to suit different educational aspirations.B.Ed: With an intake of 200 seats, the B.Ed is a must in all the courses conducted by the college. It also has an M.Ed. course with 50 seats for those looking for advanced studies. Besides, the college has a D.El.Ed. course with 50 seats for those interested in primary education. 

Admission is on merit and through a fair process at Surya College of Education. Entry is granted into all programs: B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed, based on merit prepared for the qualifying examination or the entrance exam. Other procedures of selection shall also be considered by the college according to the policies of the State Government of Haryana and the affiliated university.
