Surya School of Architecture is an affiliated college in the Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu and was established in 2010. Recognised by the Council of Architecture, it is a co-educational institution that has a niche in architectural education. The college occupies a spacious area of land of 35.5 acres, and as for the single offered degree programme with a total student enrolment of 53. The current faculty number is 11 qualified persons, which allows for creating a rather productive proportion of the students and the teachers. Surya School of Architecture aims at offering quality education in the context of architectural education so as to equip programme learners with adequate skills in the built environment.

Surya School of Architecture, Villupuram, offers a complete architectural course through its core programme. As a result, it provides only one undergraduate programme, the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), in which 40 students are approved to be admitted each year. The mentioned five-year programme is going to prepare students for their further professional life in the field of architecture.
