Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Jobner, was established in the year 2004 and is an affiliated college situated in Jobner, Rajasthan. With a land area of only 2.91 acres, this institution has been providing education services for the population within the area for nearly two decades. The college has a total enrolment of 506 students in its system, and it is manned by 13 faculty members. In its present configuration, Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya awards two courses to its students and meets the need of the region for a course that will assert the students’ ambitions in the chosen subject.

Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya envisages giving all its students a favourable environment to learn. It has a functional library that contains books that are essential for learning and all other individual development processes. To support these practical-based programmes, the institution incorporates laboratories designed for computer science, chemistry and physics, botany and zoology, and geography and geology, respectively. Besides that, the college provides great IT equipment so each learner utilises modern technologies; moreover, they can achieve basic skills required in the current society. The college has playground facilities across acres of land and also houses a modern sports complex. Extra-curricular activities include games and sports whereby students practice in different games such as cricket, table tennis, lawn tennis, and basketball. All these events are coordinated under the supervision of the Director of Physical Education.

Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Jobner, offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). The programmes are three years in duration and give the students a sound knowledge of the chosen specialities. The college can take a total of 506 students each year in the two courses, and the number of students in each section can be effectively controlled while paying due attention to students’ individual differences and learning needs.
