A whole package of engineering life, in heart of the city

An engineering college that offers your favorite subjects, and is in the heart of the city? This is what gets the attention of lots of aspiring students across the town. SVIT isn't one of the greatest engineering colleges, but hey! What is? SVIT has one of the best sets of faculty members that have a nice blend of friendly and stern attitudes, depending on who you ask. The student crowd is mostly the local Telugu tinge, but there are a few students from other states too once in a while. The people are not much of a happening one, but that's just the way engineers are. The college is strict about its regulations, and sees to it that violations are checked upon. The college has a decent ground, and a happening canteen. All the labs are moderate too. There is a fest every year, and the 2016 fest, (Palladium), had quite a few local celebrities honouring it. There are fun places to hang out in the city, and commuting around from college is also fairly easy, which makes it quite a choice for an engineering college. Overall, the college is a fun deal for an average engineering student. You cannot expect State of the Art engineering, but the college holds up pretty good in the experiences. Cheers!

Highly qualified professionals and not more than that to say. Some co-curricular activities and some one or two fests per annum and also a big deal in encouraging the students to take part in the cultural activities and much more. Not to say that no responsible for visitors here.

My experience in this college is only 9 months. According to my perception, our college is good in teaching and we have a big library to study. In my 9 months of education in this college, I have got both positive and negative experience in this college. Positive experience my college is near to my home and I am getting a lot of time to study, no ragging, they are conducting many competitions in our college to improve our self's by removing stage fear, I too participated in JAM competition and improved myself a lot. Negative experience is we have a small playground because our college is located inside the city. I don't like our drawing faculty as they always over react.

The best college which lies in the heart of the city

Though there are many best colleges in the city, I'd still feel my college is worth it. It doesn't have a great infrastructure but I feel home when I'm in college. The story behind the name of the college - Right before leaving the country to Chicago to address the parliament of religions(Remember where the Americans clapped for 3 long minutes to salute this great man? )Swami Vivekananda visited Hyderabad on February 13, 1893. When Swamiji arrived Hyderabad, by train, about 500 prominent people at the Railway station, drawn from all communities and all srata of society, including powerful Nobles, Nawabs, received him. The next day, people of Secunderabad greeted Swamiji as the city bore a festive look and then Swamiji gave his famous public speech at the Mahbub college. Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology bores his name with value and respect.
