Swaminarayan College of Engineering and Technology, which was established in the year 2012 at Kalol, Gujarat. The college has its campus spread over 2.56 acres, and within such a short span, SCET has emerged as one of the potential hubs of technical education in the region. The affiliated college has been granted approval by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Thus, this institution is maintaining national standards of engineering education. SCET has an enrolment of 585 students with a faculty strength of 26, hence maintaining a very good student-to-teacher ratio, which helps in providing an ideal learning environment.

The most important thing is that SCET offers a lot of facilities that aim at enriching the learning experience. There are well-furnished boys' and girls' hostels in the institute, with attached bathrooms. Classrooms in this campus are spacious, well-ventilated, and some even air-conditioned. SCET offers a wide spectrum of programs in engineering at different levels of study.The institute imparts 15 different courses, comprising three types of degree programmes—BE, ME, and Diploma. BE courses comprise Automobile Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology. At the postgraduate level, there are ME courses in CAD CAM, Computer Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The college also offers different diploma courses in engineering. All the courses are full-time courses and the students gain in-depth knowledge with practical skills in their respective fields. 

The admission process at SCET is fair and absolute, based solely on merit. The college accepts scores from the Gujarat Common Entrance Test conducted for its various programs.
