I was completed my Msw, iam interested to do phd in psychology what is the entrance exam to get seat in your college?

The admission is through an entrance examination conducted by a Selection Committee. There is no Ph.D as a course available with SARS.

The Psy.D. degree rose to popularity, particularly after the Vail Conference of 1973, when Psy.D. was officially recognized as a professional doctorate. The American Psychological Association endorsed this recognition.
Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology is based in the practice-oriented practitioner-scholar model of professional psychology. The clinical training is marked as the pivot of Psy.D. The program aims at training the students in the required knowledge and skills involved such as the basics, attitudes and the therapeutic interventions involved.
In India, there are very few institutes that offer this course
1. Amity University , Noida: The eligibility is as follows
a) MA / M Sc in Psychology with min 65% should have completed within last 5 years.
b)The candidate should have completed a research dissertation at Master's level
c) 2 recommendation letters from the permanent faculty members (at least 1 member should be with Ph. D) of the university from where master degree has been completed.
The program fee for the first year non-sponsored semester is Rs 1.6 lakh
The selection will be based on subject based test followed by a personal interview
2)Sweekaar Academy of Rehabilitation Sciences, Secunderabad- The eligibility is that the candidate should have passed in post graduation relevant subject for any recognized university. 3) Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH)- The eligibility is:
a) Program applicants must have a bachelor's and/or master's degree
b) A minimum of 18 undergraduate credits of psychology coursework.
