Taawish College of Education, Jammu, was founded in 2004, and it is a notable future of education college. Existing in Channi Rama, Jammu and Kashmir, this co-educational college is an affiliated college ready to train professional teachers. Located in an area of 18 acres, Taawish College provides its students with a concentrated atmosphere of learning with the aim of producing qualified teachers. The college currently has 18 highly qualified faculty members who provide appropriate attention and teaching to the students.

This college has several facilities it undertakes to make the learning process of the students a lot better. A librarian is an intellectual treasure house equipped with a large number of reference books, encyclopaedias, journals, and magazines in wide, airy, and illuminated reading halls for independent study and all-round development. Taawish College of Education aims at teacher education, providing a Bachelor of Education (B.ED) degree. This is a two-year programme and requires full-time commitment from the students as part of their preparation for a successful teaching career.
