Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Chennai was established under the Tagore Educational Trust in 2010-2011. The Tagore Educational Trust was established in the year 1997 by M.Mala. The institute is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The college was initially started with an intake of 150 students. The college is affiliated to Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Tagore Medical College and Hospital, Chennai offers admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on the basis of NEET scores and NEET counselling.
