TIET is an Institute of engineering and technology which was established in 2004 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. This affiliated college approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) provide a wide area of engineering and management courses. Located on a large 27-acre area of land, TIET has 147 faculty members on its rolls. The institute offers 13 courses in four enduring studies programs to specialize engineering disciplines and management. Thus, at undergraduate level, TIET provides B.Tech programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering. For post graduate, the institute is offering MBA and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Communication Energy Technology and Industrial Engineering and Mangement. The total number of approved intake for these courses is different and the maximum number of seats are 120 for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Master of Business Administration.

The admission procedure of Takshshila Institute of Engineering & Technology is to cover the eligible students with the help of different national and state level entrance tests. For B.Tech programs admissions are through the Central Board of Secondary Education Joint Entrance Examination Main. It also looks at the criterion of qualification examination. Seat allocation is done through centralized counseling where Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Bhopal, takes that charge. Candidates who should have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 50% marks) and should have appeared for MPMET, CAT OR MAT may apply for MBA course.
