Tapindu Institute of Higher Studies (TIHS), Patna was established in 2007. The college works under the aegis of the Tapindu Educational Society. The college is a private college and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is an affiliated college of the Patliputra University, Patna. TIHS Patna courses are available at the undergraduate level. The UG programmes available are B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) with a course duration of two years. Candidates aspiring to be admitted to the college need to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria.

TIHS Patna admissions to the B.Ed programme at the undergraduate level are conducted on the basis of the Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test (CET-BED) entrance exam conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. For the B.P.Ed programme, admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test/written test, sports proficiency test, physical fitness test and marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The college also provides many facilities like library facilities, lab facilities, auditorium facilities and many more facilities.
