Tathagat Teacher’s Training College is one of the multi facility teacher training institutions situated in the city of Dhanbad, Jharkhand established in the year of 2005. It is a co-educational college located in a small plot of 1 acre and its primary focus is to produce qualified educators. Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and it is a constituent unit of University. It imparts two teaching specialisation programmes. Tathagat Teachers Training College take 154 students in total and has 17 members in faculty which makes it a small but effective College to learn teaching .

There are students’ practical amenities in the college that are meant to improve the learning process and students’skills. A well developed library resource centre is crucial as it provides critical tools needed by student in their scholarly endevears. The institution respects the health factor, meaning that they equip the students with sports facilities as well as a gym to enhance on their health. This college introduced two full time courses both which take two years to complete. The B.Ed course and the D.El.Ed course both have admitted capacity of 100 students and the total number of seats are 200.
