Taxshila Vidyapeeth Sansthan accepts the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) in order to get admitted to the college.  

Taxshila Vidyapeeth Sansthan (TVPS) Udaipur was established in 2007. The college is affiliated to Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. The college is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). TVPS Udaipur offers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) to eligible students. The selection procedure at the college includes a valid score in the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) or participation in the PTET counselling process. Spread across 0.70 acres of land, Taxshila College, Udaipur provides various facilities to the students including indoor and outdoor playgrounds, a rich library with nearly 4500 books, 600 reference books on related subjects, a Psychology Laboratory, a Science Lab, a language- lab, SUPW room, art room, music room, a well-equipped computer lab, and other facilities.
