The Teachers Training College, Bhagalpur, was founded in the year 2010 as an affiliated college in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The institution is a co-educational and granted approval by the National Council of Teacher Education. This college imparts two types of teacher training courses and is built on a compact area of 3.49 acres. With an enrolment of 541 students, a faculty strength of 48 always keeps the student-teacher ratio very favorable, thus providing personal attention and quality education.

Teachers Training College Bhagalpur has two full-time courses in teacher education: Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. Both programs are aimed at empowering the students with skills and knowledge to become an effective educator at all levels in the system of education. 

The admissions at Teachers Training College, Bhagalpur are based solely on the performance of the candidate in the marks obtained in their qualifying examinations and/or the entrance examination. State government policies of Bihar and the affiliated university are adhered to while admitting students to the college. In the case of the B.Ed. course, students will be selected based on their merit in their qualifying examination or through a selection process in conformity with state government and university guidelines. Similarly, the admissions to the course of D.El.Ed. are done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination or through entrance examination as per the policy of the state government or UT administration.
