Tetso College, Which was started in the year 1994, is one of the well known institution located at Dimapur, Nagaland. This affiliated college on one of its sprawling 12 acres land has been established and pushing forward the frontiers of higher education. Approved by NAAC, Tetso College has a wide spectrum of 17 courses through 7 degree programmes. With a total enrolment of 1238 students and faculty strength of 49, the college follows a good students’ teacher ratio. It has 96% student strength undergraduates and 4% postgraduates Most of the students are male (51%), while females are at 49%.

Tetso College, therefore, employs a host of modern teaching facilities to ensure the best learning environment for its students. The college library, which is the college’s principal information centre, has been computerised and has a comfortable air-conditioned reading room. It is also affiliated to N-LIST scheme and has access to more than 3800 e-journals and 80000 e-books of premier publishers. For the sporting types, there will be a lot for them to do with the college’s good and adequately equipped sports installations. The college also has an event and seminar auditorium as well as departmental practical laboratories, a gym facility for students interested in sports and exercises. Currently, the college has laid down their course offers to include fifteen under graduate and two post graduate programmes. These cuts across faculties that include Commerce, Arts, Computer and applied science, Business administration, and social sciences- MA English and BCA . All courses are on full-time basis and gives students intensive and practical knowledge on their areas of specialisation. The total students’ enrolment capacity is 1,238 and the college has adopted the policy of offering quality education through practicing small classes sizes. 

Admission procedure of Tetso College varies depending on the course that has been offered to the students. The college also attaches great importance to the issue of the students’ financial resources since about one third of the first-years receive a scholarship or a refund for their tuition fees.
