Elegant College of Arts and Science, started in the year 2015 as a pioneer in arts and science institutions in the Palakkad district region of Kerala, India. Located in the charming coastal village of Kodunthirapully, this affiliated college occupies 5 acres of landscaped land. The bachelor’s programmes available in the institution enable 237 students under the supervision of 26 members of faculties. As an arts and science college, it offers six full courses in three degree programmes, laying emphasis on academic achievement and character-building.

The Elegant College of Arts and Science, Palakkad is affiliated with University of Calicut, Malappuram. At The Elegant College, students are spaced by various modern amenities that help augment the learning setup. The college also has a well-equipped, modern, spacious library, which is one of the central units of any learning institution. It has a stock of books, magazines, journals, and text books well stocked to facilitate the students with a vast source of knowledge in different subjects. For the sports and athletic persons, a choice of both indoor and outdoor sporting facilities are available on campus. Students can spend their indoor time in chess, carrom, table tennis, and badminton, and it opens space to football, hockey, kabaddi, volleyball, cricket, and basketball players.  The college also provides a well-equipped laboratory for practical exercising in science subjects as part of skill acquisition. To remain relevant in the current society, the institution avails great means in terms of IT, a factor that makes the students apprehend modern technology. A large multi-purpose, 300-seater main auditorium has become an active platform for cultural activities and numerous celebrations. Moreover, a large audiovisual room with a led displaying system and sound systems is useful in departmental affairs meetings, presentations, and other conferences.

The Elegant College of Arts and Science currently provides six undergrad courses and these are all full-time programmes. These are BA English, BA Economics, B.Sc Physics, B.Sc Chemistry, B.Com and B.Com with Computer Applications. Currently, the college offers an enrolment of 237 students as a way of ensuring a close student-teacher ratio for maximum learning.
