The Madura College, Madurai also known as Madura College was established in the year 1889. It is affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. Madura College courses consist of a total of 43 programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the courses offered are BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, M.Phil, and PhD degree courses. The Madura College courses are offered in the disciplines of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Commerce and Sciences. 

Madura College admissions to the said courses are based on the marks of the previous qualifying examinations obtained by the candidates. Madura College has also been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. The college falls between the rank band of  101-150 as per NIRF ranking 2023.
