The Oxford College of Education Bangalore was founded in 2004 and is one of the leading colleges in the country providing teacher education. This affiliated college is present at J.P. Nagar, Bangalore, and occupies an area of 2 acres; it is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has a good learning climate as a co-educational institution, which produces competent educators for the schools. Currently, the college has 28 students and 4 members of faculty. The Oxford College of Education, which is avowed to quality education for its students, aims to produce well-equipped and qualified teachers for the future.

The Oxford College of Education currently has only one full course: Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.). This two-year programme has an approved capacity of one hundred seats and thus offers many opportunities for the would-be teachers. This novel course is intended to provide students with adequate knowledge and skills in education to enable them to produce the best in their chosen field. But with this specialised programme, the college is able to provide the total training and preparation needed to produce quality students for the dynamic education market.
