Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Technology (TKSCTE) was established in the year 2007, affiliated with Tamil Nadu’s R&D University, situated in Theni. This is an AICTE-affiliated institution that has been providing various engineering courses on a campus that spans 17.68 acres. TKSCTE has a total enrolment of 624 students and a faculty of 91 to ensure a better student-faculty ratio for an effective learning process. This college provides 8 courses at 2 levels of degree, majoring in different branches of engineering. The student enrolment consists of 427 male students and 195 female students, which makes the student population diverse. The enhancement of quality educational input through the offering of courses and through the facilities of TKSCTE is well applied.

Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Technology is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Theni Kammavar Sangam College of Technology has numerous facilities that help in improving student outcomes. The campus houses the facilities for the boys and girls separately, where each hostel consists of basic comforts like a power backup facility, mineral water facility, and TV facility. For college and university learning, TKSCTE has a magnificent library measuring 670 sqm with textbook stocks of over 5755 quantities and 16477 titles. 

In addition, by its membership with the INDEST-AICTE consortium and DELNET, the library also provides its users with e-journals and online resources. An aquatics complex, a 400-metre track, a basketball court, and a TNCA-approved cricket pitch are also available to SC students and sports lovers. The campus has good ICT equipment, including an internet connection to support students’ digital learning programmes.

Currently, TKSCTE teaches eight courses, which are comprised of seven undergraduate and one postgraduate programme. The courses are B.Tech and M.Tech. Each course is a full-time, regular programme with an aim to deliver all-round education in different fields of engineering. The institute offers a total of 3100 seats to the students across all courses to maintain a dignified student-teacher ratio. Due to a lack of information on the latest graduations, the college ensures that it offers a curriculum that is inclined towards the market needs and thereby is capable of churning out quality graduates in the respective fields.
