Town Polytechnic Ballia, established by the late Murali Babu, the first Member of Parliament of Ballia, holds a prestigious position in the field of technical education. Earlier, in 1957 when Town Polytechnic, Ballia was founded, it was known as the Civil Engineering School. Courses at Town Polytechnic, Ballia include 3-year Diploma programmes.
