The United College of Pharmacy Coimbatore was founded in 2019 and being a newly established institution to focus on providing education in the field of pharmacy. Established as an affiliated college at G.Koundampalayam, Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore – Tamil Nadu. This establishment spreads over a 40 acre large land. Pharmacy institute’s PCI approval means the institute follows the national standards which are prescribed in the pharmacy education. As of now, the college accepts ninety eight students and has thirty-one faculty members, and ensures student-teacher ratio, creating a good learning environment. United College of Pharmacy offers two specialised programmes in the field of pharmacy: Among all the Pharmacist/technicians, most of them possess University degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) or a diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma).

United College of Pharmacy  has several facilities for the purpose of supplementing the academic and personal development of the students. A number of laboratories which are very essentials for the pharmacy courses and training are also situated across the campus. For now United College of Pharmacy teaches only two full time programmes in the area of pharmacy. B.Pharma course is of four years duration and is approved for one hundred intake of students per year. This exhaustive course regime designed in consultation with leading pharma organisations helps the student phenócopenically armed with specialised knowledge required throughout the health care / pharmaceutical sector. Situated in the college premise the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a two years course with 60 approved seat aiming at grooming skilled technicians in pharmacy. Both programmes are provided only in the full-time mode so that the learning is condense and specific. The cumulative enrolment of the students under these two programmes is a total of one hundred and sixty, which is evidence of the college’s capability of producing a large number of pharmacy professionals in the future.
