About Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mohali
Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mohali was established in 2009 to provide higher education in the streams of Engineering and Architecture and Management and Business Administration. UIET Mohali courses include BE/BTech, ME/MTech and MBA courses in full-time mode.
Admission to BE/BTech courses is based on the score of the JEE Main examination. Whereas admission into ME/MTech and MBA are given based on the merit of past academic performance. The Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology has an active placement cell that conducts placement drives and helps students with various training and internship opportunities. The Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology also provides financial assistance to deserving students based on their academic performance and financial background. UIET is affiliated with IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. It is a co-educational institute approved by AICTE.
