About University College of Engineering Ariyalur The University College of Engineering Ariyalur (UCEA) was founded in 2008 by Abdul Kalam Azad Educational Trust and is located in the culturally vibrant state, Tamil Nadu, India. This constituent college has 25 Acres of land on campus, and focuses on delivering quality technical education to students who want to be engineers. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE the UCEA has an array of 13 engineering courses to offer to its 620 students. Our college is staffed with a dedicated teaching staff of 25 members, hence giving us a small teaching ratio. UCE,  being a co-educational institute it encourages diversity within engineering Programmes.

University College of Engineering, Ariyalur (UCEA) is a government engineering college established in 2008 and is a constituent college of Anna University, Chennai.  University College of Engineering boasts of offering broad facilities in line with the needs of the students to improve their learning. The library was started in the academic year 2009 – 2010, and currently it has a stock of 14,415 books and journals related to different branches of Science and Engineering. They also currently receive most of the technical magazines and journals where the latest technical advances are published to ensure the students have a rich idea of their specialisations. There is proper use of technologies where the campus area possesses information technology and uses high-tech Wi-Fi technology through which the students can easily connect to online books. Fully accredited hostels are available for students who wish to live within the university compound, which includes: a boys’ hostel with a capacity of 200 students and a girls’ hostel with a capacity of 250 students.

UCEA currently has seven undergraduate engineering courses, all of which are full-time programmes. The college currently admits a total of 620 students in various programmes offered at the institution. The BE programmes include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, & Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Furthermore, in the Tamil medium, UCEA has been launching only BE programmes in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The University College of Engineering, Ariyalur (UCEA) represents one of the finest technical institutions, imparting world-class technical education to budding engineers. UCEA Ariyalur is sanctioned by the AICTE. The UCEA Ariyalur admission process aims to select candidates truly worthy of pursuing one of the many engineering programmes.

UCEA Ariyalur admission process is conducted mainly through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for its undergraduate courses. The TNEA is the State-level exam being conducted to admit the qualifying candidates into various engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. Further, UCEA Ariyalur admission process guarantees that the selection of students is carried out in a fair and competitive manner based on academic merit and performance at the entrance test.

UCEA Ariyalur admission process usually coincides with the TNEA schedule and generally starts after the 12th standard results are declared. To be eligible to pursue undergraduate programmes at UCEA, students should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in the relevant disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The candidate should have satisfied the minimum percentage requirement given by the Tamil Nadu state education board or TNEA guidelines.
