University College of Engineering JNTUK, Narasaraopet - established in 2016 - is set within sprawling 85.94 acres of land at Reddy Nagar, Narasaraopet, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, for All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved. The college runs 7 programmes under 2 degrees, with cumulative enrolment of students to be 1,234 and strength of the faculty at 12. 

The University College of Engineering specialises in an assortment of disciplines within engineering, thereby able to deliver to would-be engineers a well-rounded technological knowledge base. The institution has many state-of-the-art facilities for its academic purposes. The library has a vast collection of technical books and general literature, creating a rich-learning environment. For sports enthusiasts, UCEN has tremendous infrastructural setups both for outdoor and indoor games such as cricket, football, badminton, and chess, among others. This institution has 5 full-time B. Tech programmes and 2 full-time M. Tech programmes. The other B. Tech programmes undertaken by the University include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering all having an intake of 60 students. In its post graduation the University offers M. Tech in Power Electronics and Computer Science and Engineering with 18 seats each. The programmes are designed to equip the students with the latest knowledge and skills required in this fast-evolving field of engineering.

The admission process at UCEN is to identify the most worthy candidates. Admissions to the B.Tech programmes are mainly done on the basis of an AP EAMCET. AP EAMCET evaluates the aptitude of the candidates in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Admissions for the M.Tech programmes are made based on scores of either Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) administered by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
