    About University School of Chemical Technology, Delhi

    University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) is one of the premier constituent Colleges of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, at Dwarka, Delhi. Indeed, since the company’s formation in 1999, USCT has been among the leading suppliers of chemical engineering education. Currently located on a 60.46-acre piece of land, the institute provides a favourable environment for learning and research. The university has a strong cohort of 76 teaching staff members at the faculty, which provides a good student-to-teacher ratio. To this end, the institute provides four discipline-specific programmes in three study levels, in chemical and biochemical engineering. Consequently, USCT admits both male and female students so that the learning environment can encourage the learners.

    The University School of Chemical Technology (USCT) is a constituent school of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), located in Dwarka, New Delhi. It was established in 1999. To this end, University School of Chemical Technology has ensured that it offers top-notch facilities to its students to support their educational productivity. The institute has spacious and well-equipped laboratories to support all aspects of chemical engineering classroom with practical experience in the field. A BIB is also a vast and enclosed storehouse of knowledge in the form of books, Journals, and electronic media. Besides, to ensure students’ comfort in their residence, USCT equally has separate hostels for male and female students. The institute also offers an excellent Information Technology support system, as the world is moving toward technological advancement. Sport infrastructural facilities are also put in place to ensure students have a balance between their work and their play. The active alumni association serves the purpose of current students to have relationships with industry tastemakers.

    The University School of Chemical Technology has full-time courses for different levels of higher education in chemical engineering. These include: B.Tech M.Tech dual programme, B.Tech M.Tech combined programme, a Master of Technology programme, and a Doctor of Philosophy programme. In all, the institute offers 150 seats in its B.Tech M.Tech Chemical Engineering, M.Tech Chemical Engineering and B.Tech M.Tech Biochemical Engineering Dual Degree programmes.

    College has facilities like, ground to play, labs to perform practicals, smart board for better teaching, clean and hygienic space for living, provide hostel facility also. Canteen also provide tasty and hygienic food.

    Necessary infrastructure and required facilities were there at the college campus. The hostels were spacious and single-sharing. The classrooms were smart and labs were well-maintained. The living spaces were clean. The food was best in terms of quality and hygiene.

    College infrastructure is good but lab is not good all equipment not working well and teacher is not interested for lab and dean faculty provided any subject to any teacher this is major problem of usct.teacher is good and placement this year is average most of students get placement upto 10 lakhs.
