Uttamrao Deshmukh Institute of Pharmacy, Hingoli was set up in 2018 is one of the young Pharmacy colleges in India. Located in Balsond, Hingoli, Maharashtra – This College is an affiliated college approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute occupies a very limited piece of land measuring 2 acres in size that makes the learning environment quite personal. The total enrolment of the institute is 74 students and faculty of 7 members ensure a proper teacher student ratio makes sure quality education in the field of pharmacy. That is why the institute provide important amenities to facilitate students educational activities. 

Uttamrao Deshmukh Institute of Pharmacy possesses the efficiently equipped department-based labs in which students can develop their practice and get the necessary skills being important in a further pharmacy profession. Uttamrao Deshmukh Institute of Pharmacy currently offers one primary course: the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma). This full-time programme takes two years and according to the ministry of education has a privileged threshold of 60 students per year. The D.Pharma course is thus framed to empower the students with the base knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences which will help to mold them as drug personnel at entry level or as per their choice pursue higher level education in pharmaceutical sciences.
