The Varaprasad Reddy Institute of Technology, popularly known as VRIT, was established during the year 2001 at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the premier educational institutions running as an AICTE-approved affiliated college spread over a sprawling 70-acre campus. It offers an array of technical and management programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a total student enrolment of 901 and faculty strength of 114. The institute provides 23 courses through 5 different degree programmes in engineering, computer application, and management studies. The institute  accepts the scores of Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) for B.Tech admissions. The aspiring postgraduate students in their pursuit of MBA and MCA courses are allowed to get admitted through Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test. All these integrated entrance exams are usually conducted in the months of May and June. Counseling and the admission processes generally take place soon after.
