    About Vetri Vinayaha College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirappalli

    Vetri Vinayaha College of Engineering and Technology (VVCET), as an affiliated college, was started in the year 2009 in Tholurpatti, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. This institution, established under the AICTE offers the following engineering programmes. VVCET is vast in extent, covering a site area of sixteen acres; it has a total intake capacity of three hundred & eighty students and a total of sixty-six faculty members. The college offers six undergraduate programmes in different fields of engineering, and all are day programmes. Being part of technical education, VVCET has a mission to target a successful career for students in the growing field of engineering.

    Vetri Vinayaha College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The college has much infrastructure, which includes facilities to enhance student learning and development. The physical library has 10,693 books, 81 serials, and 413 non-book materials, serving the academic demand of all departments. Hostel and Dining facilities: The institute has a boys' pilgrim hostel with a strength of 350 students and an independent girls' pilgrim hostel for 65 inmates, with a kitchen & dining hall for each. The campus is completely provided with Wi-Fi facilities in all places so as to favour the academic activities. For studying practical sessions, students find well-furnished labs; for physical health, a gym hall is available, and for recreation purposes, there are several sports areas. It also provides and operates a health centre with first aid necessities, a hall for gatherings and seminars, and a food joint.

    VVCET offers a total of six undergraduate engineering courses, and all are full-time courses only. These are BE in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Information Technology. The college has been given an approval to enrol 380 students across all the courses offered in the college as part of pushing for a favourable student-teacher ratio.
