Vidhya Mandhir Institute of Technology (VMIT) was set up in the year 2011, located in Erode in Tamil Nadu. Located in the outskirts of the Perundurai-Chennimalai State Highway, Ingur, this affiliated college has gained reputation as one of the premier institutions robust for producing budding engineers. The engineering programmes of VMIT has present varieties of courses which 6 courses fall under 2 degree programmes. It has a student enrolment of 387 students and a capable staff strength of 97 members providing chances for our faculty to maintain a student teacher ratio that is central for individual attention.

The facilities in VMIT range and offer multiple amenities that serve to improving the quality of the education offered as well as the living standards of the student. The campus has specific hostel facilities for boys and girls thus giving students who live in the hostels a comfortable place to live in. VMIT provides students with the most extensive range of engineering courses; all of the programmes are full-time study courses. The institute offers five BE programmes and one ME programme. Thus the full form of BE is Bachelor of Engineering, which includes Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, with 60 students intake for each Engineering disciplines. For postgraduate, VMIT teach Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering with total intake of 24 students. It is for this reason that these programmes are intended to prepare students in the knowledge of the areas of specialisation within engineering.
