Vidya College of Nursing, started in the year 2005, is an affiliated college in Udupi, Karnataka. This is a co-educational institution located on five acres of land and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) in terms of nursing education. It has 132 first-year, 38 second-year, 13 third-year, and 8 fourth-year students, while our faculty includes 11 lecturers and 5 members in administration. At Vidya College of Nursing, there is only one programme, B.Sc Nursing, within which the college aims to prepare qualified nursing personnel to help support healthcare needs.

Vidya College of Nursing, Udupi, is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), ensuring quality and accredited nursing education. Vidya College of Nursing has numerous amenities that will enhance and supplement the existing learning and facilities needs of the learners. The campus features separate hostels for male and female students, designed to provide proper accommodation. It has a well-stocked library with over 3600 books and 10 national and 4 international journals for the support of its nursing studies. The college also has two computerised labs with access to forty computers, coupled with an internet connection, ready to serve the needs of the students with the most updated tools. For health services, there is a university health centre and on-campus first aid services. The college also uses diet, with all students able to access sports facilities at the college. Facilities include clean food facility/cafeteria services, a fleet of 9 school buses/vans, a hall for conducting events/seminars and plays, and a well-equipped practical laboratory.

Vidya College of Nursing offers one full-time course, the B.Sc Nursing. This is a four-year programme which has an approved intake capacity of forty students to effectuate professional training to students in nursing science. The course aims and objectives are to provide students with the ideas and practical experiences needed for a competent and successful nursing profession. Since the college offers only this nursing programme, it can effectively offer deep training to students in various developments within the field.

The admission criteria requirements that Vidya College of Nursing uses to identify committed and qualified B.Sc Nursing course students, as the college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council, it is perhaps most delivered to the standard admission principles governing nursing colleges in India.
