Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology (VVCET) was set up in 2007, located in Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu as affiliated college. Located in a 4.7 acre campus, VVCET has wide number of engineering and management programs. The institution is accredited by the NAAC and recognised by the AICTE which is the All India Council for Technical Education. With a recruitment capacity of 676 students and 132 faculty members, VVCET maintains a favourable teaching – learning environment. The college currently provides 11 courses under 4 degree programs such as engineering computer applications and business administration.
Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology has many wonderful amenities that exist to improve the life of a student in some way. They include; Boys hostel with a capacity of two hundred and fifty seat, and the girls hostel that has one hundred and thirty seat. There are water purifiers in each of these hostels to enhance clean water for use by the occupants. In emergencies, there is a dispensary to cater for the college with two bed amenities fully appointed by a nurse-in-charge and a doctor who comes in periodically. There is also an equipped gymnasium for enhancing physical fitness among the learners is enhanced. The college has a library with a collection of 18960 books in 5082 different titles intended for use mostly by the under graduate and post graduate students. Furthermore, each department has its archive of books related to the concern of the department.
The institutional teaches a total of 10 courses, whether in undergraduate level or postgraduate level. The college offers BE (Bachelor of Engineering) ,ME (Master of Engineering) MBA and MCA course. The over allotment of students that has been approved to offer across courses is 498. Unfortunately, data on the graduation of the college, especially for the newest year that is most recent at the time this study was done is rather scarce, nevertheless, the college’s overall enrollment is equivalent to its intake of students to the extent of 676 students; a fact that suggest a fairly stable enrollment.
The admission to the VVCET is as provided by the Tamil Nadu Government rules and regulations. On this front, the college accepts TANCET scores for postgraduate courses and CEETA–PG and CET for some of the ME courses. Undergraduate engineering programmes’ admissions are done through the state’s engineering entrance test. It is also involved in counselling session carried out by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) committee. Unfortunately, there is no information about merit scholarship grant available in the college, however, the college is bound to provide financial assistance in accordance with State Government Norms if the students are qualified for the program.

Vidyaa Vikas College of Engineering and Technology admissions to these programmes are made through the state engineering entrance examination and subsequent counselling by TNEA. The college has a total approved intake of 300 seats in these B.E. programmes.
